North Wales provides a great destination to discover and explore. With so much to see and do and a great variety of interesting tour content, we recommend three or four days of touring.
Naturally, having a good base to tour from is a key component and we recommend two great locations with the Victorian coastal resort town of Llandundo or the medieval walled town of Convy.
There is plenty of accommodation to choose from and we recommend that you consider a single base to tour out from each day, as in the season there is so much demand for accommodation, that single night stays are generally not available at the better rated accommodation.

I cannot recommend this tour enough! We did a 4 day tour of Northern Wales and were stunned by the beauty of Wales! John, our driver-guide, was knowledgeable and attentive. We visited Conwy, Snowdonia, Caernarfon, Llandudno and the Isle of Anglesey and got to see and visit all the amazing and hard-to-get-to places that the big tours would never take you to!

This was the highlight of our 16 day trip in the British Isles. John is so knowledgeable about the area and about the Caernarfon Castle, which has an amazing history.
The van is custom made and very comfortable for six passengers. Because it is a van and not a huge tour bus, John was able to take us places that very few people would ever get to see. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, don't hesitate. It is well worth every penny!

We enjoyed every minute of our two-day North Wales tour with John from Boutique Tours of Wales. Besides being a very attentive guide, John is an accomplished and funny storyteller - so prepare to be entertained!
Revis Meeks from New York, USAJohn's accounts of Welsh and English history and folklore are fascinating. John's "local" knowledge is wonderful - he'll take you down gorgeous, narrow lanes you can't access on big tour buses. You'll dine in great local restaurants (who knew there's a nice winery in North Wales?) Five-star reviews mean the word is out: this business is outstanding.
